This Privacy Policy applies to the use and access of the personal financial services offered by Perfios through its official website - Perfios.com (‘Website’) and its application – ‘Perfios Money’ App (‘App’) (collectively, “Services”). The Website and App are owned by Perfios Software Solutions Private Limited (referred to as ‘Perfios’, ‘the Company’, ‘we’, ‘our’). References to ‘you’, ‘your’ or ‘user’ means the end user utilizing or accessing the Services.
This Privacy Policy states the manner in which Perfios collects, uses, processes and shares information in connection with your access and use of our Services.

However, you use or access our Services at any time without telling us who you are or revealing the required information about yourself. Links are provided for convenience only and inclusion of any link does not in any manner imply endorsement of the website to which it links.
You agree that the Company shall not be liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such third party website or resource.
Perfios will be the controller of your personal data provided to, or collected by or for, or processed in connection with our Services (if any).
Upon your acceptance of becoming a member and accessing/availing Services, we would request you to disclose certain basic information for the purposes of registration and creation of your account (email address, user id, password). Once you provide us with the registration details and login preferences, we would request you for additional information in order to provide you with the Services. Such information may be provided by you entirely at your option and with your full consent. You acknowledge that there is no obligation or compulsion made by the Company and that you have provided the information voluntarily, specifically for the provision of Services.
We will not request you for any identity disclosure. All information provided by you will be treated as private and confidential. Details of these are elaborated under Section 11 (Security of Information) below.
The Company hereby undertakes and confirms that the mechanism employed by the Company is designed such that no sensitive personally identifiable data or information is maintained, tracked or stored on Company’s servers or any third-party servers. All such personal data or information shall, at all times, remain on your machine or server. Data that is stored in the servers of the Company shall be data collected as part of the Services which doesn’t fall under the classification of sensitive personal data or information.
(a) Information you give us: We receive any information you enter on our Website/App as part of the Services. However, we do not store any personal sensitive information on our server. They remain with you on your system.
You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to optimally use or access the some of the features of the Services through the Website/App’s which require such information to be enable the use of such feature. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, customizing future commercial transactions, improving our database, communicating with you and utilising, without prejudice to any of your other rights, the same for any other use, whether commercial or non-commercial, which the Company in its sole discretion considers necessary for its business purposes or otherwise.
You can add or update your information. When you update the information, we usually keep a copy of the prior version for our records.
(b) Automatic Information: We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. Our server logs your activities for various diagnostic and analytical purposes. However, other than the IP address of your machine from where you are accessing the Services, there are no other personal information maintained or stored by the Company.
(c) E-mail Communications: We may request you to effect a confirmation to confirm your credentials and activate your account with us. To make emails more useful and interesting we may also send you e-mails to give you certain information or for availing other features for which links will be provided in our e-mails to you.
Keeping in mind the security and confidentiality of your personally identifiable information, we transfer or share the information with third parties in only limited circumstances as described below:
(a) Sharing of Information Received by the Company: Your consent is sought when a third party is involved in your transactions, or when we share, use or, personally identifiable disclose customer information related to those transactions with that third party.
(b) Business Transfers: As we continue to develop our business, we might be acquired completely or merge with any other entity. In such an event, customer information is generally one of the transferred business assets. In such a case, we will intimate you of the same and ensure the continued protection of your information as per this Policy.
(c) Protection of the Company and Others: We release account and other personal information which we believe is appropriate to comply with law; enforce or apply our User Agreement and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or preserve the safety of the Company, our users, or others. This is covered in greater detail in Section 13 (Other Uses & Legal Disclosures).
The Company acknowledges and states that the data provided by you shall belong solely and exclusively to you. You are permitted to correct, remove or delete the data, so provided, either in full or any portion, at any point in time as you desire.
Perfios maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with the requirements under the Information Technology Act, 2000, Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 and other applicable laws to secure your information.
You acknowledge that we may transfer any information that you provide through the Website/App as part of Services availed by you to (i) our affiliate(s) or information providers, or (ii) if we are legally bound to disclose any information due to compulsions under law. You consent to the transmission, transfer, storage or processing of such information to, or through, any country in the world, as we deem necessary or appropriate, and by using and providing information through the Website/App while availing the Services, you consent to such transfers.
In the event you desire to correct any inaccurate data or remove/ delete all or any portion of the data belonging to you, the same needs to be made in writing to the Company. Upon receipt of such written request, the Company will do the needful forthwith and notify you of the same. Once your information has been deleted by us based on your request we shall not retain any copies of such data on our server or in any other place. The Company warrants that it cannot access such deleted material at any point in time.
Any contact, information or access that the Company had towards such data, material or accounts will cease forthwith. However, certain portions of your data, which the Company had maintained on its servers may remain either in backups or in transaction logs. These are maintained only for the specific purpose of backup or to provide Services to you in the event of any malfunction or damage to our server or its contents and in order to ensure continuity of our Services without disruption.
Perfios is an ISO 27001 Certified Company. The audit of reasonable security practices and procedures are carried out by an auditor at least once a year or as and when the Company undertakes significant upgradation of its process and computer resources.
Perfios implements all necessary and adequate security protocol in the protection of your information and also has the following certifications: Plynt Certified Secure Website, Trust Guard Privacy Verified, Trust Guard Business Verified, Trust Guard Security Verified and Trust Guard Certified.
The Website/App used for providing you the Services uses cookies and other techniques (‘Cookies’) for the optimum functioning of the Services. Cookies are used by Perfios to enable enhancements to the user experience. If you do not agree to the use of Cookies, you may configure your web browser not to accept Cookies. If you choose to set your web browser not to accept Cookies, Perfios cannot guarantee that the Website/App will function optimally while availing the Services.
We work to protect the security of your information during transmission of data by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. We constantly re-evaluate our privacy and security processes and adapt them as necessary to deal with new challenges.
We make every effort to allow you to retain the anonymity of your personal identity and you are free to choose a login ID, email address and password that keep your personal identity anonymous. Access to your registration information and your personal financial data is strictly restricted to our employees and contractors, on a need-to-know basis, in order to operate, develop or improve the Services.
You agree and understand that you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all information provided to the Company while registering yourself, which includes your login ID, e-mail address and the passwords for the same. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your e-mail address, password or account and you shall ensure to exit from your account at the end of each use. The Company will send all correspondences, notices and any other communication to the e-mail address furnished by you.
In the event of your becoming aware of any unauthorized access or misuse of your account/ information, you must forthwith notify the Company at support@perfios.com. The Company cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this Section.
As described in this Privacy Policy and with your express consent, the Company will from time to time connect electronically to your online bank, credit card and other online financial accounts and obtain your financial transaction details account information from those third parties in order to provide the Service to you.
As the provision of Services includes you providing the Company with information, data, passwords, usernames, personal identification numbers and other materials and contents, suggestions, ideas, feedback, etc., you are hereby expressly granting the Company the right to utilize the same for and behalf of you in order to provide the Services.
You hereby represent and warrant that you are duly authorized to submit or represent the third party on behalf of whom you are providing this information to the Company. Further, you acknowledge and agree that these materials, suggestions, feedback and information can be utilized without any restriction, payment obligations or any other limitations on marketing, promoting, advertising or other purposes.
By using the Services, you expressly authorize the Company to access your accounts maintained by identified third parties, on your behalf. When you use the specified feature of another additional account of the Service, you will be directly connected to the website of the third party you have identified. The Company will submit information including usernames and passwords that you provide to log you into the site. You hereby authorize and permit the Company to use information submitted by you (such as account passwords and users names) to accomplish the foregoing and to configure the Services so that it is compatible with the third-party sites for which you submitted your information. The Company also collates information about your use of the Services including the banks or financial institutions with whom you transact, and which will be used for the creation of statistical or other forms of representation, at all times ensuring that there will be anonymization and no personally identifiable data shall be used.
We do not and will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone, for any reason, at any time, unless you have explicitly consented to the same. We may need to disclose information about you when required by law or legal process or if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities or to assist government enforcement agencies; (b) enforce our agreements with you, (c) investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations, (d) protect the security or integrity of our Services (such as by sharing with companies facing similar threats); or (e) exercise or protect the rights and safety of Perfios, our users, personnel, or others. In addition to the circumstances described above, we may utilize the data for some statistical or other representational purposes without any disclosure of your personal data.
We will attempt to notify you about legal demands for your personal data when appropriate in our judgment, unless prohibited by law or court order or when the request is an emergency.
For any grievances you may have with respect to the processing of your data, you may contact the Company’s Grievance Officer at grievance.redressal@perfios.com. The Grievance Officer shall make all efforts to respond to any such grievance within one month of its receipt.
Our business changes constantly. This Privacy Policy and the User Agreement may change from time to time, and usage of information that we gather is subject to the Privacy Policy and the User Agreement in effect at the time of use. We may e-mail periodic reminders of our notices and conditions, unless you have instructed Perfios not to, we recommend that you check the Website frequently to see recent changes.
If you choose to access or use our Services and have any query or require clarification about your privacy in relation to the Services, we request you to send the Company a thorough description at support@perfios.com and we will endeavor to resolve it.
If you choose to access or use our Services, your visit, use and any dispute over privacy are subject to this Privacy Policy and User Agreement. Any disputes arising out of this Privacy Policy and the Services shall be governed by the laws of India and the courts of Bengaluru (Bangalore), India shall have the exclusive jurisdiction. Any dispute arising out of or in relation to the Privacy Policy shall be resolved through arbitration by a sole arbitrator mutually appointed by you and the Company in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act,1996. The venue and seat for arbitration shall be Bangalore (Bangalore). The proceedings shall be in English.
